Spider found in the shrub by our front door. I removed the shrubs around the front of the house since Cyndy saw a very similar spider near one on the side of the house. Not sure but suspect it to be a female Black Widow spider.

Spider egg sacks found in the shrub by the garage. By the looks of the web, we suspect these are Black Widow spider eggs. All shrubs were removed and eggs destroyed.
Jason found this spider by the garage this morning (9-16-2010). The shrubs were removed 3-4 weeks ago. Some nice, cool hiding places inside the brick wall and rock bed to the right. Some leaves have blown into the open spaces providing bedding and protection, I'm guessing. Need to identify with a degree of certainty. Suspect female Black Widow spider.
